seafoam and smoke

i sort of asked this question in somebody else's thread, and was probably too wordy with it. here's the pared down version:

when de-carboning with seafoam as per TD's instructions in the FAQ, does the smoking cease when the carbon is gone?
or
does it always smoke when you have a lot of seafoam in the fuel even when the carbon is cleaned out?

Smoking stops when the carbon the SeaFoam softened up. Usually about 10 to 15 minutes for a heavily carboned motor. Subsequent treatments will also smoke, though less profusely, as long as there's carbon there. When the carbon is gone, Sea Foam won't initiate significant smoke. Some motors may take two or three treatments, although once is OK for most motors.
