seafoam engine cleaner

Thanks to those of you who suggested the use of Seafoam as an engine laxative. One dose of that and new spark plugs and its running like it used to. Eight plugs and Seafoam was less than $20 total and was money well spent. Maybe I won't sell it after all.

I don't know what is in seafoam, but it is one additive that works. I regularily add it to all my internal combustion engines.

I had a dead miss on cylinder #3 on my merc 350 mpi.<br />After checking spark and compression and finding both good, I added a can of seafoam to the fuel tank and within 20 minutes of running the miss disappeared and hasn't returned. That was two years ago. I also had a similiar experience with my Chevy pickup.<br /><br />Poverty Sucks
