Hey guys, been reading around alot on this and diff forums but seems like i keep see diff responses so figured i would ask myself. I am redoing my 20ft pontoon boat, we stripped everything and redoing the floors / carpet. Have marine grade plywood good to go but do i need to seal it? I keep seeing to seal it with epoxy, some people saying polyester resin, and some people saying dont seal it at all etc. I was planning on sealing it with epoxy? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys

the issue with sealing both sides is that when moisture does get into the wood, it stays wet.

my buddies pontoon is going on year 25 of simply using ACX plywood. the top was sealed with rustoleum, dap weld-wood adhesive and carpeting. and his boat goes in the water in April and comes out in late November and is moored on the water the whole time.

Thanks Scott.

ya i originally bought ACX after reading a bunch of forums etc but ultimately decided with marine grade for a little bit more, not crazy expensive difference actually. Anyone else? Any tips or comments appreciated
