does anyone know if there a resto involving a searay 250 cc I'm researching a r&r a transom stringers
and was wondering where to remove the deck to get access to the lower end thanks roy
There is currently a Sea Ray 270 going 'under the saw' on this forum, but it is in the early stages. Are we talking about a Sea Ray 250 Cuddy Cabin? What vintage (year)?
Club Sea Ray may have something, but I think you may find some better information here on iBoats, even if it is not exactly the same boat.
Can you tell us more about the boat and the situation?
This boat was left with the plug in causing water to fill engine compartment
forward to in front of fuel tank, saturating the engine bulk head with water .
also foam is wet. The boat didn't cost me anything so I welcome the challenge
Maybe post some pictures . . . of various areas of the boat, including the engine bay and what yu can see of the stringers, fuel tank, etc. I take it that it does not have an aft berth, just a cuddy w/ V-berth?
Theres lots of help here in the resto pages on transom and stringer replacement. It doesnt have to be model specific to get proper material and proceedure info.
