Hello! I found a decent boat that I may buy to restore. However, I need to know that capacity of the boat and unfortunately the owner isn't sure. . . .

I have attached a picture of the boat. The ad reads that it is a 14' gamefisher, but may be the 13'6" model.

If anyone has information regarding the capacity and weight of this boat, I would be very grateful. I'm a large person and need a boat that holds at least 650-700# (like my canoe does)

Thanks!

:)

that boat will easyly handle 800 lbs...

there is a sticky at the top of the forum called uscg rules..(in faqs)....in that thread is the calculations for capasity of any boat.

also try the sears forum at the bottom of the main page.

Re: Sears Gamefisher capacity

thanks for the help. the owner didn't see the darn plate on the boat (owner's wife . . . nothing against women, just didn't know a lot about the boat).

the coast guard plate reads 745#

Take care!

Hello everyone, I am currently working on a 1968 14 ft fiberglass tri-hull boat that the title says it's a Yearling. I haven't been able to find any information about it. It looks very similar to the Sears Gamefisher. Was wondering if anyone has ever heard of it.
