Sears Gamefisher Impeller .... Who's got em??

Where can I get an impeller for an air cooled 1982 Gamefisher 7.5?

There is a guy selling them on Ebay for about $23 shipped but he says his impeller is just a little over an inch in diameter. The stock impeller is 1 1/4" across. The water pump housing diameter is 1 1/8" so the impeller off ebay would probably barely touch the sides of the housing.

Who makes these aftermarket Gamefisher impellers? There can't be to many manufacturers so i'm wondering if the $23 impeller off ebay is the same impeller as the one Sears sells for $40?

The Sears one probably fits. You could also try www.certifiedpartscorp.com, which has most parts for your outboard. Trouble with them is that you have to call the number at their website to order. Still, they make sure you get the right part. Have your model number in hand when you call. I don't know their prices on impellers, though. They ship fast, and the guy I talked to really knew his stuff.

The Seller on Ebay (Eskaman) finally got off his fat butt and actually measured the impeller. It's 1 1/4" so it will work. I'll order one from him since all Gamefisher impellers are probably made by the same manufacturer and he is the cheapest.
