I have twin engine with hydraulic tie bar steering. My engines constantly need to be aligned, usually twice a day while on the water. I have replaced the ram seals and there is no leakage, bled the system according to Seastar instructions and still have this issue. I can move both engines together about 1/2" either way by moving one engine by hand. Is it possible the tie bar valve is leaking by? The system is @ 10 years old. any ideas/help will be appreciated.

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,....

While I'm not familiar with yer system,...

I'd think adding another solid type of tie-bar would fix yer issue...

agree w bondo.... never been a fan of any steering system without a solid steel link between the sides, be it, rudders, drives, or front wheels of a car.
