I’m coming up with blanks on all web searches for info on Seatek Spa. model 6 v4 marine diesel engines. Anyone have any ideas? Or does anyone have info about this critter or Seatek in general?

Shot in the dark for ya... German engine, from what I can gather.. Seems somewhat popular diesel engines in offshore racing...

Seatek Marine Power, 850 NE 3rd St, Dania, FL, 33004, USA, (tel) 305 927-4266, (fax) 305 927-4288.
Engines, Generators & Steering Systems>>Diesel Engines

Re: Seatek marine diesel engines?

Thanks snapper. I chased down a lead I found in the forums on boatdiesel.com and found the manf website. The Seatek diesels, Italian made, are unusually light-weight/high power and indeed, are a choice for offshore racing…as well as patrol use. Navy S.E.A.L.’s use them, too…don’t know what for!?!? For some reason they don’t exist here on the west coast, 3 distributors in FL.

At 750-hp, I’m wondering if it will be a little over powered for my 10-ft inflatable dingy? :D
