Some people want a rematch of LSU Alabama in the National Championship game! Horrible idea! That was the most boring hyped up game there could be!

Stanford, OK State or Boise State would be better choices.

I'd like to see Boise State too, but it will never happen. Even if they win out, they will never be higher than 4th "maybe" 3rd in the BCS because of their schedule. Don't agree with it, it's just reality. Heck, 'Bama lost and is still ranked just above Boise.......

Hmmmm. Agreed LSU vs Bama was a snoozer, but if you think SEC football in general is boring we must not be watching the same games.

I didn't think that was such a boring game, but I am more defense oriented than most.

Certainly wasn't the game of the century, or even the week, but it was a hard fought game between good teams. Good teams can make good teams look bad.

My main disappointment was that Alabama played a better game than LSU but lost because they couldn't close several field goals. Even a bad team should have scored at least two of them.

Don't take BCS too seriously. Nobody has come up with a perfect system for identifying the best team in the country so far, and my bet is that nobody ever will.

You are confusing "Evenly Matched/Tremendous Defenses" with "boring". I am not an SEC fan, and I think their offenses are a little antiquated, but as past results have shown, when they play teams others conferences they Dominate them. With Defense and overall team speed. Sorry, but it's the truth. I'd rather watch a defensive struggle of a rematch than watch LSU beat the snot out of any PAC 10 team.

Personally, I'd rather watch them prove thay can beat another team than watch a rematch. They need to prove that they are the best and it isn't going to happen with a rematch. Sorry, but that's the truth.

If they play Stanford and beat the bejesus out of them, are you gonna post back on here that you were wrong, and a rematch wouldn've been better? Or are you gonna say next year that (insert any other team from any other conference) could/should win the BCS championship? People have been saying what you have been saying for how many years now? And the overwhelming majority of the time, the SEC has proven them wrong. SEC title game has closer to the National Championship than the BCS title game has been since it was created. And that's just the way it is.

I just don't want a rematch period...no matter what the score of the BCS game ends up being. The proponents of the BCS system say that every game is a playoff. Alabama had their chance and they blew it. Time for the next team.

LSU may not even be in the title game....same goes for Stanford.

SEC is boring?...name any other conference where the majority of the conference games are good to watch.

and the LSU v BAMA game was just another conference game around the SEC. you won't have to hold your breath long for another great matchup...happens almost every week.

size and speed. the only thing that will stop LSU is themselves or Les Miles. he can be fun to watch coach but he can also mismanage a clock like nobody else.

doesn't mean you can call the conference boring. you may not have enjoyed the game but you have to admit...despite the low score, it was an exciting game. big plays, big hits. 2 of the biggest/fastest defenses in the country....OT...you wanted BAMA to win, right?

i'd like to watch the SEC run over those other teams too.

Actually, I was out of town and went to a sports bar to watch it. I was actually watching it instead of my school's game(UCLA). The other games that were on at the time were way more enjoyable. I really didn't care which team won. I just wanted a fun game to watch which didn't happen.

I guess I am more of a fan of NFL style offenses. To each his own!

I would not say that inside/outside of the U of Alabama stadium. You might get a good old fashioned- "whoopin"!

In LSU's case, you migfht get a ONE WAY trip to the "swamp"!
