HI I'm giving up on my 60ESL with a fried amplifier. It's otherwise complete although I suspect the stator and coil aren't good either. I tried selling on eBay but got only a few views. Is there a better venue elsewhere? The engine has a complicated ignition system and hydroelectric shift so I'm starting to believe it's a model that is generally shunned. Is that true? If not, is there way I can recover some cost?

The electric shift is a wonderful simple unit.-----But it is not well understood.-----Shops refuse to work on them.-----Any body that has one likely has a spare parts motor already picked up for $100 to $150 or so for the entire motor.
