Bought a 1992 Thompson 1800 Calae with a 3.0 L Mercruiser. Prop has a pretty good chips knocked out and a lot of roughing around the edges. Anode is basically broken off flush. I know how to replace them both, but cannot find good info on how to select the right prop and anode for my engine. Thanks for the help.

magnesium for fresh, zinc for salt. what ever size fits, the tab is used to offset the steering torque.
flat, short tab, long tag, grind - to -fit tab. all depends on the type of prop and the pitch.

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,.... The prop will have numbers stamped in it, includin' the pitch,....
The pitch of the prop, 'n the Rpms at Wot, average load is important,...
Take those numbers to the Prop Forum, 'n you'll find All kindsa Help in there,.....

Thanks. That is what I needed to know. I'll take a look on the prop tomorrow for the numbers and go from there.

Before you order a prop consider what you will be using the boat for. Cruising or pulling people on water toys.
My WAG (wild arse guess) is your prop diameter will be either 14" or 14.5" and you'll be looking at a 19pitch or 21pitch. The 19 will be better for towing, the 21 better for cruising.
But try to keep WOT rpm within what is speced for your engine.
