Just how good are they? They offer online subscription and Evinrude doesn't except for 97 amd later models.

Seloc manuals are good, however, they cover different years in the same manual. Mine did and it was confusing at times. Try an Evinrude dealer and get the specific year. Hope this helps.

they are good to use as knee pads..... or wheel chocks.....or as a means to level a crooked table.

as a manual, not worth the paper they are printed on.

iammonroe,

I am not a professional mechanic, as are so many here. I have rebuilt a couple of small outboard motors, which I depend upon from time to time.
The Seloc manuals are of no use whatsoever to the amateur. Find the original OMC service manuals. They can be found pretty easily on eBay.

Hey Scott.....boatinfo.no contains scanned Seloc and Clymer manuals. Not much help unless you know what you are looking for.

I have gotten some (very little, but some) useable info from boatinfo.no, wouldn't kick it out of bed......

Thanks for the comments. Got my OEM manual today and is nice to have correct and easy to follow instructions.
