Re: seloc or cylmers manual whos best
I would pay the extra and get an OEM manual from Ken Cook. Google "Ken Cook Outboard Manuals" , and you will find it. They are worth the extra money you pay since they are specific to your make and model. They are the only company that is endorsed by all of the major engine manufacturers for their technician's manuals. Just remember .... paying $100 for a manual is nothing if it saves you hundreds or thousands in dealer fees in the end. If Ken Cook doesn't have your manual then contact Volvo Penta and they will know where to send you.
Take it from me. I bought every manual out there before buying the OEM service manual, and I wasted my money up until buying the OEM. Clymers and Seloc are vague at best in describing your engine parts. They leave you with a lot of unanswered questions, and they leave you with a lot of guesswork.
