Serial Number???

I have a 75 hp Mariner. I don't know the year and see several numbers, but not sure which is serial #. There are no indications of what the numbers are . Can anyone tell me where the number would be located, thanks.

Should be a plate on the transom mounting bracket. If it is gone look for a round plug on top of the motor with numbers on it.
