Serial #

I just bought a 1986 Blue Fin Sportsman 19ft with 85 hp force motor, I can't locate a serial number plate on the transom bracket, the only number I can find is a stamped 48685532, under that is a 63-2. Any help is greatly appreciated.

There should be a stamp in the casting of the engine block.
It is a circle with the year in the middle.
I think it is somewhere under where the mounting plate for the CDI modules and ignition coils.

IF the motor and boat is the original package???
You can contact Bayliner and get the numbers from them.
Send the Hull ID # to them. They should have the info as
to year and model and serial# for the motor.
48685532 is the hull# you can see the second and third #
is the year for the hull.
Nordin gave you the location for the year of the motor.
Also under the bottom carb on the intake is another foundry stamp.
Numbers in the middle of the circle should be the year that part is made.
