trying to figure out which service manual to get to pull my engine and replace seal between engine and outdrive which one do you think would do this for me i found one for 38 and one for 100.00 here is the first one:

they are for the right boat 87 capri bayliner i just need to know if the cheaper one would get me enough information to fix my boat. leaking threw seal between engine and outdrive

a boat mechanic should be able to look at these two books and tell me which is the real deal.....any out there?

Those manuals are both OEM manuals, so they have to be the same thing.
What you need to find out is if they are a complete set of manuals for that year or just a single manual from the set.
