setting points 61 10hp

qd model have factory manual. is it possible to set points correctly with flywheel on? i would guess this is what this what the inspection port is for. put new ones in in fall with flywheel off and left project over winter. just put flywheel on and torqued up again and didn't set them. dont feel like pullin the flywheel again. guess i will if i have to.

Yes, you can set them witht he FW on. Make sure when you do that the rider part of the points is aligned with the keyway in the crankshaft - that's the highest point on the cam.<br />- Scott
