When the cam follower is on the peak of the cam the gap should be .020", Douglas. <br /><br />Good luck. :)

The local libraries have service manuals to borrow if you don't want to buy one. If you're near the HRM, click here.<br /><br />PS - your flywheel nut torque is 40-45 ft/lbs. It's important to torque it to spec.

Or, if this is easier - the cam follower should align with the keyay in the crankshaft...<br />- Scott
