Re: setting timing

To do this you will need to pull your plugs out (at least you do on the Force 125). then hook up the timing light and then you should beable to get it to time as you would anything else. You will need to people to do it. One to turn the key to crank over the flywheel and one to hold the timing light on the flywheel, or have a remote starter. The plugs are the catch that had me tricked for about a week. I was pulling my hair out about that for days.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
Bryan Cox
MTU

Re: setting timing

Tell me about it. I had never heard of this either, but for my Force 125 I coudln't get it to time at all, and about pulled all my hair out. Then on here I found out you must pull the plugs, and guess what? I timed it perfect in 5 minutes once the plugs were out. I was ready to blow the engine up.

Thanks,
Bryan Cox
