Hi all. I have a trailer / Boat combo I bought used. The Boat is an aluminum Utility 16' Starcraft Deep V. The trailer is not much larger, a Tilt type of unknown make that was never set up for the boat correctly.
I lengthened the Bunks out the back to handle the Transom better. I then put a keel roller on the tongue and adjusted the other Keel rollers to be level. My problem is the forward most roller can not be lowered, and the Bunk boards can not be raised enough to support the boat.
A solution I came up with seems fine to me, but also considered my lack of experience may be the only reason it seems OK. lol
Can I have the rear Keel roller 2" lower (OFF level) than the forward Roller (10' apart) and then adjust the intermediate keel rollers and bunk boards to match this "tilt"?
Thanks for any and all help and suggestions.
