shaft length

Hi all, I am going to get a new Mercury outboard for a boat I am fixing up. It is going to be a 15 HP Mercury. My question is this:<br />From the top of the transom where the motor attaches, to the bottom of the boat is 16 inches. What shaft length would work best for me?<br />Thanks in advance.............Johnny

Short Shaft (15") is what you need.

Yep, short shaft for a 15" - 16" transom.
