Shake

Anyone familiar or have used it in the past? I suspect it's very complicated and don't want to spend too much time trying to learn it. Just trying to get infos. on the ease of usability before I go and spend all my lunch money. Or is there another program comparable to it but cheaper?

Rather it’s an animation/Visual Effect software. The movie Kong was entirely done with Shake. From what I hear, it takes a little time to find your way around. I don't have that much time though. Took me 4 months to learn Final Cut in addition to DVD Studio.<br /><br />Basically, I want to create an animated Title Screen. Simple stuff. Nothing to the caliber of Kong. I know Macromedia Poser is much cheaper, but I think it lacks the life like characteristics. Maya on the other hand, even more complicated. Anyhow the new version of Shake won’t be out till months to accomandate the new Mac Intel Chip. Nevertheless, I need to something up. Any infos. Will be helpful. Thanks
