But, I have a back fire on the port bank. It is a small pop, I have tried richening the idle, it helped a little. I have no manifold leaks timing is at 10 deg btdc set with a jumper wire. What would cause this? Maybe intake or exhaust valve to tight? Video coming in 5 mins

it is so hard to get the pop to show up on the sound. IT is there was are the cause of a pop or back fire from one side of the engine? IF it were timing wouldn't it be on both side? maybe lean condition?

back fire has been narrowed down to cyl #7 I loosened the vales a quater turn and they are not the problem. This thing has a 2bbl carb so how could it be lean on just one cyl?
