Well finaly got a chance to try my brand new 1963 electric seahorse out this weekend...got the ignition figured out, turned her over for like 3 seconds and vroom vroom, new water pump looks ok during idle (hard for me to check it while driving by myself) but the real kicker is that it went into gear and drove real nice (it was choppy so ill have to take it out when the lakes glass to really let her howl) the only thing i did was wired the throttle backwards so forward was reverse...but the throttle cable worked pretty good other than that...very happy i didn't have to pull the gear box appart.

i had to wire the starter solenoid straight to ground since my safety switch isn't good...but i cant find one in the cataloge, can someone give me a part #? thanks
