Shift Cable Adjustment

I am having a problem trying to synchronize the shift cables on my fly bridge control head to my wheel house control head. When I am in neutral on the fly bridge, the shifting head is in reverse in the wheelhouse. My cables are new and work very smoothly, so I think this is an adjustment issue. I have both cables running into a new combinator in the engine room which is working correctly. I am wondering where and how I should start making my adjustments. I also have two different brands of control heads. The fly bridge has Morse, and the wheelhouse has Kobelt. I am not sure if that would make a difference or not. As of right now I can only use controls in wheelhouse, as I cannot get the bridge head to engage into forward gear.

Thanks in Advance

Re: Shift Cable Adjustment

Are they electrical, mechanical or hydraulic?

Re: Shift Cable Adjustment

They are mechanical. Cables directly from the combinator to the control heads

Re: Shift Cable Adjustment

If installed in series the main is installed first and the fly bridge would be adjusted to the main. If installed in parallel both would be adjusted independently. See if this will assist

The only other issue which could pose a problem is the amount of throw distance between the Morse and Kobelt. I'm figuring this could be adjusted but otherwise they should work.
