I have a 1979 33ft Carver Voyager. My boat has dual Crusader 270s.

This past weekend my shift cable snapped on the fly bridge port side shifter and I had to return to the city prior to my being able to remove it completely.

I am hoping someone might be able to give me some input as to the length and type that I would need as a replacement. I was going to order the 30 foot cable but it seemed like it may be too long.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. If at all possible my goal would be to order the cable and have it to take back to the boat this weekend.

I have included some pictures below that I snapped (no pun intended) with my phone right after it happened.

Thanks!!!!

Tim

On one end or the other of the cable, there are letters and numbers stamped in the plastic. These will tell you how many inches or feet long the cable is.
Look for these and then get them from any marine supply.J
