I trying to replace my shift interrupter switch, but I am unsure of how to correctly wire it. Is there anyone that can help. I have a 88 bayliner trophy hardtop with a merc 4.3l inboard. Thanks

You sure you have a Mercruiser? No 1988 Bayliners ever came with a Mercruiser.

You posted in the OMC forum asking about a Mercruiser. Bruce mentions BL didn't use Mercruiser in 88, so I guess you need to post some pictures or serial numbers if you plan on getting some help, and I'm sure there is plenty of help here to help you fix your problem.

Ayuh,... Either post serial numbers, or better yet, Pictures,....

Yer postin' in the OMC forum, ya say it's a Mercruiser, 'n Mercruisers don't have an ESA...

'n as far as I've seen,... Neither would require removin' a Manifold to reach the ESA, nor the shift-switch...

Sooooo,.... We sure as 'ell don't know what you've got, 'n it sounds like You don't, Either....
