Hello. I have a 1989 Mercruiser 5.0L Alpha One with an LH Rotation. I had my transom replaced and I don't think my shifting got adjusted correctly. I have no problem shifting into reverse or forward, it shifts nice and smooth and does not cut-out; however, my shift interrupter switch will come out of its V holder sometimes when I am already in forward gear and cut the engine off.

Does this seem normal? I am guessing that I need to make an adjustment to the shift linkage. Or could it be a warn Shift Interrupter Switch?

Any thoughts.
