I have a 1994 suntracker pontoon with a 60 hp mercury on it. I am trying to remove the shift lever from the console. I have removed the three bolts and it will not come apart. It is a model 3000. On the inside of the console os the working mech. with the cables attached. All that is on the outside of the console is the lever. How do I seperate the two to get them apart?
