Shift linkage removal 88 horsepower Evinrude

Hello,<br /><br />I want to know if there is a screw that connects the upper portion of the shift linkage. I will be removing my lower leg unit soon for the water pump change. My motor is model number E88MSLCER Evinrude outboard.88 Horsepower SPL. I have gotten replies that all I have to do is remove the nut that holds the shift cable on remove the pin and push in to port then start removing lower leg unit. I didn't know if I need to remove a screw or not before removing lower leg unit.

Hello again,<br /><br />I have got another question. What is the torque values for the lower leg unit bolts install. The Seloc has different torque values but not the lower leg unit unless it means something else. The Seloc manual gives the torque values for Flywheel nut, connecting rod bolt, head bolt,main bearing bolt, crankcase head bolt. I don't see one for the lower leg unit torque value.
