I made the mistake of pulling on the prop shaft while doing a lube change and disconnected the shift shaft from the prop shaft and cant get it back right any help please 1997 75hp force

You remove the wrong screw?If that's the case then you need to take it apart and re-assemble.

I don't understand.
Pulling on the prop shaft or pulling out the prop shaft and bearing carrier? Just pulling on the prop shaft will not disconnect the shift, otherwise it would do that everytime the engine went into reverse.

Clarify please.

I suspect he removed the shift pivot screw.

I photo of what screw you removed to drain the lube, will clarify.
