im removing my lower unit for storage so that I can store it in my garage and also for maintenance the reason I read that the throttle cable or shifter has to be placed in forward drive to make it easier to fit back in is it okay to leave the shifter in forward all winter I mean will this flood the engine or cause any issue thanks 1989 mercruiser 3.0
