Was out on the lake all day my 87-year-old glass 20 foot cut it with a V-8 MerCruiser Alpha one stop in Fisht we got done it would not go in gear forward or reverse I pulled the cable off and it was like it was locked in when I got the boat on the trailer I found out that there were the lower unit meets the upper unit that the shifting thing jumped out of place when I put it back in place it will not go all the way up and seed it was out on the lake all day my 87 Carol glass 20 foot cut it with a V-8 MerCruiser alpha one stop in Fisht we got done it would not go in gear forward or reverse I pulled the cable off and it was like it was locked in when I got the boat on the trailer I found out that the little lower unit meets the upper unit that the shifting thing jumped replace gonna put it back in place it would not go all the way up in seat it self Once I pushed it up together it shifted great but it fell back down again I did have a water pump water impeller put on anybody have any idea it’s been a year since I’ve been on the site thank you
