I have a 1982 90hp Evinrude that I recently took apart to paint. After I put it back together, it runs great but will not go into forward gear using the cables. I can manually shift it without a problem. I have replaced the throttle cables and the remote control. Does anyone have any clue what could be causing this? I am going crazy! Thanks!
