shoot thru transducers

is there any kind of shoot thru transducers that go thru aluminum, and or is there other t/ducers that go on your o/b motor or is that the one i'm thinking of goes on your trolling motor.

Saw one called "Alumiducer".

Never seen one and don't know how it performs though...
