I have a V150TLRB and ordered the shop manual last year for the engine. The manual does not cover my specific model, but has multiple 150 HP motors with different specs for each model. It covers C150X,150X,S150X,L150X,P150X, and D150X. Can anyone tell me if one of these will cover my motor. I would greatly appreciate the input..

Thanks

Re: Shop manual Specs

for the most part yes. there were some minor differences in the V max motors but mechanically they were about the same. the tune up guide lists the V 150 with the p and d models

Re: Shop manual Specs

I just took a look at the book. It looks like the carb settings are the same for the P and D models, but the timing setup is different for these two. I guess I would like to find the following specs:

Needed for V150--
Flywheel magnet position = ?(BTDC)
Piston Position( for checking timing)=(?mm)
Timing plate position= (after piston has been set??)and
Full advance screw length= ?(mm)

Looks like the rest of the tune up is identical..or from what I've looked up so far. Thanks for the reply, I really appreciate your expertise on this motor.
