Re: Shore Power

Are the lights 115v ac or 12v dc?

If ac, there may be a breaker tripped.

If dc, I expect you have a 115v-12v converter somewhere that's not turned on. It will be close to your shore power panel.

Re: Shore Power

The lights are 12V, when I connect the batteries everything works. My breaker panel has five breakers, 1-main 2-outlets 3-refrig 4-water heater 5-range. Does the dc power work off the battery and when its plugged in it charges the batteries? Thats the only thing I can think of.

I'm new in the boating world....... :)

Re: Shore Power

There would normally be a 115-12v converter in there to operate the lights, water pump, exhaust fan, etc. and keep the batteries charged.
Same as in a motorhome or travel trailer.

There is a chance you don't have one, if the dealer offered it as an extra cost option, or someone may have removed it.
