I have a shore station boat lift that my day bought new 32 years ago. It has been in storage until last week when I finally assembled it in my yard.( It's a long story but he sold the boat that he needed the lift for, then recently I bought the same boat from the second owner so I figured I might as well use the lift). <br />Anyway, the lift works fine in the yard, but the braking action of the winch doesn't hold the lift in the raised position and I am wondering how to adjust.
