short or long shaft??

one more question please....

the boat i just bought with the merk controls on it without a motor i need to figure out if its long or short shaft boat? the transom is 21" from top to bottom point. thanks picture below...

Long shaft, which is 20".

ok long shaft it is i just wanted to make sure, i had a short shaft on a long shaft boat one time didnt work so well LOL thanks

A long shaft on a short transom doesn't work any better. It's better to be sure, Poor.
