short shaft to long shaft conversion

I need to change a 30hp mariner from short shaft, for a 15" transom to a long one for a 21" transom.<br />What is entailed and where is the best place to get the parts. These parts can be used. <br /><br />Reply to sjmaher@charter.net

Smaher<br />I would just order the kit from any Mariner/Mercury dealer. It converts from 15 to 20 inch and has all the parts and instructions.
