short shank suggestions

I recently prchased an Ebbtide 2440 24' open bow. The anchor compartment on the bow will only allow a 16" long anchor. Anchor primarily used in coves at The Lake of the Ozarks. The 4lb Fortress seems highly recomended but is too long. I know I could store it another compartment but like the bow compartment concep. Looking for suggestions. Thank you.

same problem with sea hunt boats. Some people cut off some of the shank and drill a new hole. This will affect the way the anchor works
