Should the carb enrichers be cleaned?

2003 Yamaha 75 4 stroke has ran well in past years. Let it sit 30 days with no fuel stabilizer and now hard to start cold. It will start and idle but at a VERY low rpm. Mid range to top end back to idle is good and will continue to idle normal. Air intake is not blocked. Stock fuel filter clean, no water. Fuel tank vents function. Couple questions.

Is Prime Start aka the enrichers?

Does the Prime Start operate automatically or by manual push in of ignition key?

Can I remove and clean the enrichers?

Another strange event I've noticed recently, when I stand on the port side (17' v bottom bass boat) while motor is idling it starts to run rough and slower until it dies. If I walk back to driver side all is normal. List to port will kill motor after a few seconds. Carburetors are on the port side of Yamaha, interestingly enough. I've asked dealer about this, no clue.

the enricners are wax pellet thermal valves.
not attached to the ign choke and are automatic.
they are fed 12V at key on or from the lighting coil depending on model.
they can stick.
your list issue is either the floats are set incorrectly or its listing so bad the fuel is sloshing to port keeping the float needle closed and allowing the idle fuel jet to get air.
carbs with floats can be sensitive to attitude.

Should enrichers activate at each cold start or only when temperature is below a certain point?
