I have a 1987 Malibu skier with a a 350. I have gotten water back washed into the motor. I took off all of the exhaust back to the back of the boat. There are no shutter valves installed . Is this the way this boat was manufactured? Is there a aftermarket shutter valve I can install? Or are the exhaust flapped the only thing keeping water out of my engine?
