Does anybody mfr. an option for a pontoon boat transom so I can mount the 70 as primary and 9.9 along side?

I have a Smokercraft ESX or FSX (24')boat with two motors (70HP Merc Thunderbolt and 9.9 Merc). PA has several lakes with HP limit, while others are unlimited. It's a real chore switching motors for a day of boating or fishing, if we want to switch lakes. I know I share steerage, as there are products available. This boat already has both control boxes and I have another set of control lines.

Dave,

I do not know who manufactures, them but a friend has a 20ft Tracker, and the 9.9kicker is mounted on the end of the port side pontoon. He made his bracket after looking at some of the ones he saw in magazines. It slides into the brackets that the deck mounts to. He has a connection rod that he attaches to the kicker from the primary for steering and he has to throttle controls. He did his for the same reason HO limits on a local lake.

jollymon has the right idea. I have had brackets welded onto the back of my toon and I can stand on them with no problem. Plenty strong! A good Aluminum welder should be able to set you right up. Weld a 1/4" bracket wide enough for the motor bracket to sit into and then bolt a piece of treated 2"by wood to it and hook her up. Check with the local Marinas as to who does good Aluminum welding.
