Side gas tanks??

I have a 1975 Wellcraft V20 and it has 20 gal side tanks.<br />The problem is that the tanks won't empty toghter and this leaves the boat listing to one side. <br />I have tryed putting the hoses the same length as was sugested to me. Still the same ?? Does anyone no what my problem is??<br />Thanks!!

Perfectly normal. If both valves are open, one tank will always empty first.

Exactly together? Probably not. You can get real close but it involves a surge tank and specific electric pumps. And your insurance company will probably take a dim view of the idea.<br /><br />Now they do make electronic switching devices so you can switch back and forth from the dash. Imco makes a good one.

How about hydraulic trim tabs to level it off as the tank goes down.<br />Buttanic
