Hi all,I have just bought some new fuel line, from tank to squeeze bulb.
I am finding it very difficult to make connection to the fuel tank. I put the hose in boiling water to soften it up but, still not correct.
Can someone explain to me thank you all.

Did you get the marine fuel line? If it's not marine----- get the right stuff. The correct size?

That fuel line is flexible and will slip over the fuel tank fitting with very little persuading. Methinks you bought the wrong size hose (too small), like 5/16" hose for a 3/8" fitting. If you do manage to force it on, it may split later on.

Ill bet you have the wrong size hose. Its not uncommon to find differant sizes, from one thing to another. Hoses are measured by the inside diameter (ID), fittings are measured by OD. If it were me, I would replace everything from the engine connector, to the tank.
