Here are a few pics of the Crestliner ... I do know the title says its a 70 ... but it was a philly boat, and yall know how them thar big city folk tell tales ...<br /><br />but does anyone recognize this as an actual model? Its so cool knowing the Starcraft is a Holiday, not just duhhhh, a starcraft runabout ... <br /><br />

Ray....any idea how long it is? I used to have a 1970 Crestliner that looks exactly like this at the front end but mine was only a 15ft and the model name was Simcoe, it had 2 sets of sleeper seats inside and was rated for a 65hp motor which is what I had on it 65hp Merc.

shes an 18 footer Bob ..<br /><br />Boatin Bob .. hmmm, thats sounds familiar ...<br /><br />dont you have an ocean going rocket ship, big block Fords in a ThunderCraft ... I think your boat was one of the ones I was drooling over in the show us yer boats post, lol

Yeah...that's my Thundercraft, worked my way up from the Crestliner from 1970 to the Thundercraft in 1995 through about 5 other boats. That Crestliner brings back lots of memories, it was the boat I learned to ski with. Good luck with yours!

Thanks, I call her Chugboat Annie, mostly due to the aging 35 horse ol John on the stern ...I dont like to run him too hard, but even flat out shes not a speed demon<br /><br />of course ... that 125 Big Johnson would scoot her along, lol<br /><br />Glad she brought back some memories, ive had a lot of good ones in her too<br /><br /> :cool:
