iboats would only be a shell of what we are without all of you very dedicated forum members! Here is a snapshot of a few numbers at the end of Aug 2003:

• <br />
• We turned the iboats boards live on June 30,1999<br />
• As of today, there are approx 31,900 members who have registered since we started.<br />
• We have had 54,717 topics started<br />
• There have been 273,736 posts (plus a thousand +/- lost due to Steve)<br />
• JB and Djohns19 are our top 2 posters with over 13,000 combined posts! If they averaged just 3 minutes per post they wrote, they spent 650 hours in just writing!!! Now consider time they spent reading others' posts as well!!!<br />
• 32 people have each written over 1,000 posts<br />
• 15 people have each written between 750-999 posts<br />
• 29 people have each written between 500-749 posts<br />
• 76 people have each written between 250-499 posts<br />
• 181 people have each written between 100-249 posts<br />
• Therefore, 333 board members have each written at least 100 posts<br />
• We have only had to ban a handful of people/trolls to date which is truly amazing (other than Sloopy who I banned 15+ times until he started playing by the rules We all love him now.<br />
• I think it is fair to say that hundreds of thousands of boaters have been helped/educated because of all your help.<br />
• Thanks once again to our moderators! You have helped keep this place running smoothly, month after month<br />

Well that's all well and good, but the big kudos has to go to iboats itself for having the guts to start this site not knowing whether it would fly or not.<br /><br />It could have not been to cheap to get it up and online, kinda like a shot in the dark kinda thing.<br /><br />I know, have been there and done that.<br /><br />Like I said, hats off to the iboats team for making this site as good as it is.<br /><br />(Man that sure sounds like a suck-up )

I knew I stumbled upon a great site when I came here for the first time.. All I needed to see was one fellow boater helping another fellow boater and WHAM!!! I knew this wouold be an excellent site to hook up with.. I have learned somuch and have traded many tips with many great people... Keep up the good work and I will try my best to help anyone out the best I can

I believe I have read about 60% of every post.<br /> I really enjoy this site I am a iboats junkie and am now taken therapy for it but it doesn't help for I just slipped off from the srink and am now on the key board.<br />For every post I thought would benefit me I have printed off and now have cataloged in a huge file cabinet <br /><br />Thumbs up to you iboats for a great board and to the guys and gals that take time to post solutions and questions<br />

These folks planned this ride eight years ago, shipped the harleys to BC, rode all over the United States finally arriving in Milwaukee!!<br /><br />Anyhoooo, I digress, <br />A Huge Thank You to Iboats for You. Almost forgot...let's not fergit our little friends from out yonder that come by from time to time. I know there plumb tickled at the iboats stats.<br /><br />Hey Pat....Icehouse is OK...just don't start blowing it all over the momitor like I've done on occasion. And I'm blowin' Bud Longnecks. This place will do it to ya' once in a while. What's worse....these guys on here seem to know when ya' do it.......go figure

This has to be the best bb on the net! I find the answers to my questions before I ask.
