Looking for some help. Recently purchased a ‘94 echelon that had been sitting for a few years. Working on redoing all th vinyl and hopefully getting the 5.7 EFI 350 tournament Ski back in shape. Engine starts, idles, revs fine just seems to cut out. I’m thinking it’s wiring issue but checking to see if anyone has any other suggestions before I take it in. Guy I bought it from had put in a ignition control module from his old Chevy. Any good service recommendations in the Rhode Island area? Thanks

Forgot to mention new plugs done, new fuel filter, and dash error reads o2 sensor obviously that is not applicable in this configuration. Thanks

Yeah sorry. Engine will just turn off. No rough idle or any backfire just basically turns off as if I killed the ignition. Have not put it in the water yet only running on hose on trailer. Thanks.

Since its been a few years you may or may not have an issue with the gas in the tank. Noticed you already replaced the fuel filter, but if you dump the contents into a jar and let it settle to see if it is clear and does not have any water in it.

Attach a voltmeter to the + side of the coil, and when it shuts off see if 12V is still present
