Skeg Damage

Ran into a pile of rocks yesterday and busted the prop and took some good chunks out of the bottom of the skeg. I got a new prop but what should I do about the skeg?? It's a 1983 60hp

If you post a pic the guys on here will be able to better tell what type of damage we are talking about.

Just a few chunks out of bottom of fin and the whole skeg is bent to one side a little.

There are tricks to straightening the skeg, but the chunks are a problem. Try ebay for a shell. Will probably be able to pick one up for 100 bucks or so.

Or find someone to repair it. Decent welding shop will do it for a reasonable price.
